Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PocketPlay Labs collects when you use Color Dodge and any other mobile application we publish, how that information is used, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have. Effective date: August 7, 2026.

1.Who We Are

PocketPlay Labs ("PocketPlay Labs", "we", "us", or "our") is the developer and publisher of Color Dodge and all other mobile applications published under the PocketPlay Labs name (together, the "Apps").

This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Apps. It applies to every PocketPlay Labs application distributed through the Google Play Store and to this website.

For any privacy matter, you can reach us at info@pocketplaylabs.com. PocketPlay Labs acts as the data controller for the processing described here.

2.Information We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect information that directly identifies you — such as your name, postal address, phone number, or email address — unless you choose to contact us directly at info@pocketplaylabs.com. In that case, we receive only the email address and the message content you send us, and we use them solely to answer you.

When you use the Apps, the following technical information may be collected automatically by us or by our third-party providers:

  • Advertising identifiers: the Google Advertising ID (GAID) assigned to your device, used for advertising, frequency capping, and fraud prevention.
  • IP address: collected and processed by our advertising and Google Play providers for approximate (coarse, country/region-level) location, fraud detection, and ad delivery.
  • Device specifications: device model and manufacturer, operating system and version, screen size and resolution, language and region settings, network connection type, and mobile carrier.
  • App usage and diagnostic data: app version, session start and length, levels or screens reached, in-app events, feature interactions, ad impressions and clicks, and crash and performance logs.
  • Support correspondence: your email address and any information you voluntarily include when you write to us.

3.Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, date of birth, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, microphone or camera data, health data, or financial and payment card information. Game progress in Color Dodge is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

4.Third-Party Services and SDKs

Our Apps integrate the following third-party software development kits (SDKs) and services, which may collect and process technical data as described above under their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob — used to display banner, interstitial, and/or rewarded advertisements inside the Apps. AdMob may access your Advertising ID, IP address, device information, and ad interaction data in order to select, deliver, and measure ads, and to detect invalid traffic.

Google Play Services — used for core platform functionality, app distribution, integrity and security checks, and crash reporting.

These providers act as independent controllers or processors for the data they collect. Please review Google's privacy policy for full details on how Google handles this information:

5.How We Use Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes only:

  • To serve personalized (interest-based) advertisements where you have given consent, and non-personalized (contextual) advertisements where you have not.
  • To measure advertising performance, including impressions, clicks, and revenue reporting.
  • To analyze app performance and stability — diagnosing crashes, load times, and technical errors.
  • To understand aggregate app usage so we can improve gameplay, balance difficulty, and design new features.
  • To maintain security and integrity, including detecting fraud, invalid ad traffic, and abuse.
  • To respond to your support requests and to comply with legal obligations.

6.Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your data on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): personalized advertising and any optional analytics. Where required, we request consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before any such processing begins, and you may withdraw it at any time.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): non-personalized advertising, security and fraud prevention, crash diagnostics, and basic aggregate usage analysis needed to keep the Apps working.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): retaining records where law requires it.

7.Ad Choices and Opt-Out

You control how advertising identifiers are used on your device. On Android you can:

  • Reset your advertising ID: open Settings > Google > Ads (on some devices: Settings > Privacy > Ads) and tap "Reset advertising ID". This assigns a new identifier and disconnects it from previous ad activity.
  • Opt out of personalized ads: in the same screen, enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or tap "Delete advertising ID". You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized (contextual) rather than based on your interests.
  • Change your consent choice: where a consent prompt was shown in the App, you can reopen it from the App's privacy or settings option and change your selection at any time.
  • Manage Google ad settings account-wide at https://adssettings.google.com.

8.Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to, or intended for use by, children under the age of 13 — or under 16 in the European Union / EEA where a higher age of digital consent applies under GDPR Article 8.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child below the applicable age, we will delete it without undue delay.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact info@pocketplaylabs.com and we will act promptly.

9.Data Sharing and International Transfers

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named in this policy, or where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Our providers, including Google, may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

10.Data Retention

Technical and advertising data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, and typically no longer than 14 months by our advertising providers, unless a shorter period is required. Crash and diagnostic logs are usually retained up to 90 days. Support emails are retained for up to 24 months. Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer identify a device or person may be retained indefinitely.

11.Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you have rights over the technical data associated with your device:

  • Access: request confirmation of whether we process data relating to you and obtain a copy of it.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of data associated with your advertising identifier or support correspondence.
  • Restriction and objection: request that we restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling for advertising.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw advertising consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • California residents: the right to know what categories of personal information are collected and shared, the right to delete, the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

12.How to Exercise Your Rights

Email info@pocketplaylabs.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". To help us locate the relevant data, please include your device's advertising ID (Settings > Google > Ads), the name of the App, and the approximate dates of use. We respond within 30 days, as required by GDPR and CCPA.

If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not resolved your concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

13.Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and restricted access to any data we hold. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Apps, in the SDKs we use, or in applicable law. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice in the App or in the Google Play listing before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Apps after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
